Some weeks, we'll connect with artists, entrepreneurs, and other cool folks to learn about how they fill life with color and curiosity. Others, we'll reflect on interesting trends we're seeing in business and/or pleasure.

The Authors

The newsletter is written by Gloria Liou and Lucas Griffin. We live in Pittsburgh, PA, where you can spot us running, trying beers at local breweries, or running to local breweries to try beers.

Gloria Liou

Gloria works in tech—more accurately, though, she loves to lounge and hates to lose. Off the clock, her personal KPI is time spent on the couch watching shows. But, she can begrudgingly admit to enjoying the times when Luke convinces her to go outside. At the core of it, everything is about the human experience for her, and she’s always excited to learn more. She did the degree thing at the University of California, Berkeley for Economics and Media Studies.

Lucas Griffin

Luke consults for small businesses and startups on growth, communications, and design. On a given day, he’s most likely buying too many used sci-fi books or annoying Gloria by fretting about “surveillance capitalism.” He studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and Social Work at Columbia University in New York.
